FAQ’s

You’ve got questions, We’ve got answers.

  • We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans as well as Anthem BCBS plans. Before our first session we will verify your coverage and let you know what your payment responsibility is to the best of our knowledge.

  • Yes! We also accept and work with out of network insurance plans including Cigna, Aetna, and United. Your portion of payment depends on how much your specific plan covers for out of network sessions. Your therapist can go over your payment responsibly once they verify your plan.

  • Every first session looks different but you can expect to meet with your therapist over a HIPPA compliant video platform. The intake session is used for client and therapist to get to know each other, gather information on your psychosocial history as well as current reasons for therapy. Your therapist will then work with you on assessment and goal setting for future sessions.

  • Once you schedule your first appointment, your therapist will send you a link via email to RiseWell’s HIPPA compliant client portal. Once in your client portal, you will find intake documents to fill out which include your insurance information, credit card information, and demographic information. Once that information is completed, your therapist will verify your insurance information and let you know of any further information they may need. Prior to your first session, you will receive an email reminder of your session as well as a link to join the session at the time of your appointment.

  • To respect the time of both therapist and other patients, we have implemented a 24 hour cancellation policy. Patients are responsible for the full cost of their session when giving less than 24 hours notice.

  • We currently provide services via telehealth only. We find this gives our clients the most flexibility and opportunity for a consistent therapy schedule.

  • Yes, we do offer a limited number of sliding scale opportunities. We will base the totals of the proven income of each applicant.

  • Teletherapy is therapy done through a live video connection between the therapist and client. On some occasions, teletherapy can be done through telephone. Please inquire with your therapist if this is an option they provide.

  • A Superbill is a document that we can provide to you that contains billing and session information for you to submit to your insurance to seek reimbursement.
